The Mazi NCIS Long Short Fund aims to generate positive returns and outperform cash. The fund is more aggressively managed compared to our Market-Neutral Fund.
Administered by Investment Data Services, with RMB Prime Services as a broker.
Our hedge funds are equity-based and employ typical strategies to invest in a range of instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and offshore assets.
The funds generate returns comparable to equity at a fraction of the risk and are not correlated with South African equity indices. They are net long and carry limited derivative positions.
Their differentiator lies in their flexibility, leverage and ability to short sell.
